Hello there, Is weekend again, so instead of sleeping late or just wasting time scrolling news on handphone, why not consider going for a short hike to de-stressed yourself after a long working week. This time around, I will be introducing a trail name Ketumbar Hill. Here's a morning view of the KL city from one of few look-out spots. Is a relatively easy trail to hike with distance of less than 3km and height of approx. 200+m . This trail is very popular especially during weekend as you will encounter many hikers of various age group doing their morning walk and then proceed to having "Yum cha" or breakfast at nearby coffeeshop. The trails are marked and there's rope stretch out along various part of the trails to assist hikers to ascend/descend on some difficult spot. Starting point of the trail: Along of the hiking trail, you will find lots of big rocks in the surrounding area. So, please do be extra careful when passing through as it can be quite slippery as many

Weekend Hiking At Broga Hill (Semenyih) Today I will be sharing on a hiking spot named Broga Hill, a relatively easy hike passing grassland trail and it is very popular hill among weekend hikers and fellow Instagrammer and Youtubers.  So, what is unique about this place? I must say, first is one of a kind " night-hike" (we'll go into the details later), really beautiful panorama views of the surrounding hill as well getting the opportunity to catch the golden sunrise view over the horizon (but you got to be at the summit before 630am though). When arrive at the early hours (say 5am in morning), is always good for you to be ready and know where to find parking area. With just a little walking distance, you will reach the foothill of the Broga starting point. By the way, you will be surprised if you think arriving at 5-ish morning is a bit too early... usually quite a number of hikers would have already arrived way before that. As I mentioned earlier, this is a one of a k

Hello fellow hikers & friends, For this hiking article, I will be introducing to you a trail name Bukit Kerinchi (officially known as Taman Rimba Kerinchi) located at the edge of KL city center. Kerinchi trail is a fairly easy to hike as the Kerinchi-Bukit Gasing loop distance is just about 3-4km. This trail is very popular especially during weekend as you will encounter many groups of hikers of various age and size doing their morning walk.  What I really like Kerinchi trail compared to the Jalan Gasing trail is that is much easier to get there when driving with ample free parking space. (Note: As comparison, on some occasion, I saw many cars got summon issued when they park at the residential roadside in Jalan Gasing area). From the starting point of the hike, you will immediately start to notice that the facilities here is much better (ie. public toilet, picnic areas, both concrete and steel walkway, designated parking lots) which make your starting hike point much easier. Hello fellow hikers and friends, In this article, I will be sharing with you one of my favorites hiking trails located within the vicinity of Setia Alam, Shah Alam. This very popular trail is named Shah Alam Community Forest (aka SACF) .   Note: View of surrounding housing and hills are from The Wall  This particular hiking areas offer few trails of interest - highlight will be the like of Peak Garden, The Wall, Mirror Lake and Bukit Sapu Tangan. You can opt to go just to either one of these places or all of them in one go depending on the time you have. If you cover entire loop areas, it will be approximately 10km. The hike is relatively easy/moderate depending on the trails you use (Trail A, B & C) and I did see quite a few families bringing their small kids along with them especially going to Mirror Lake for picnic. Here's a trail map of the SACF with gives you a good view of where each of the track is leading to and how to read the signpost label station A, B & C. Here&
